Wieskirche, Steingaden, Germany and Church of St. George, Lalibela, Ethiopia - God’s Glory in the Humble

Today we look at why the first witnesses to God's birth are a bunch of humble shepherds outside of Bethlehem. This should remind us of some of the great shepherds throughout Scripture, but also how we are all meant to be shepherds as we guide and lead others to God. Mostly it tells us about how Jesus is both the spotless lamb, but also the great shepherd who is willing to lay his life down for the flock

The Readings are Titus 2:1 and Luke 2:1 - The Second Readings of Christmas Day - Pg 107

The Churches we explore are Wieskirche, Steingaden, Germany

and Church of St. George, Lalibela, Ethiopia
